Edit Access Key for Object Storage

You can update an access key’s details, including its name, bucket permissions, and expiration date, to maintain secure and appropriate access.

Steps to Edit an Access Key​

  1. Log in to your DewaVPS control panel.
  2. Navigate to the Storage section.
  3. Select the Object Storage tab, then go to the Access Keys section.
  4. Locate the access key you want to edit and click the Edit button.
  5. Modify the following as needed:
    • Name: Change the key’s identifier for easier management.
    • Bucket Permissions: Adjust which buckets the key can access and the level of access.
    • Expiration Date: Set or update the key’s expiry to limit its validity.
  6. Click Submit to save your changes.

Tip: Regularly review and update access keys to follow best security practices.
