Change RDNS

Reverse DNS (RDNS) allows you to map your public IP address back to a domain name, which is important for services like email servers to reduce spam flags and improve trust.

Steps to Change RDNS for a Public IP​

  1. Log in to your DewaVPS control panel.
  2. Navigate to the Network section.
  3. Select Public Network.
  4. Locate the public IP address for which you want to change the RDNS.
  5. Click the Edit RDNS icon.
  6. Enter the desired fully qualified domain name (FQDN) you want to associate with the IP.
  7. Confirm and save your changes.

Note: It may take some time for the RDNS changes to propagate across the internet.
